Sideloading is easy with the 'Downloader' app. Follow these steps.
1. Enable Apps from Unknown Sources
On your TV or FireStick, go to Settings > My Fire TV > Developer Options. Turn ON 'Apps from Unknown Sources'. This is a necessary first step.
2. Install the 'Downloader' App
Go to the Appstore on your device and search for and install the app named 'Downloader'. This app has a web browser to download files directly.
3. Download the APK via Downloader
Open the Downloader app and enter the direct download URL for our Spotify TV APK. (This URL would be provided here). The app will download the file for you.
4. Install and Enjoy
Once downloaded, Downloader will automatically prompt you to install the APK. Click 'Install', then 'Open'. Log in and start listening!
